Who is Coach Jason? A Personal Trainer in Jersey City


Jason Logan, is a Boxing Coach, Personal Trainer and Health Coach from Jersey City, NJ. He has many years of experience in boxing and Mixed Martial Arts. During his youth, he has always been an active basketball player and took up boxing recreationally to stay in shape and learn new skills. He graduated from New Jersey City University with a Bachelor’s in Accounting and entered Corporate America.

While working in the business environment Jason continued to train in boxing and also embarked on a path toward Mixed Martial Arts training. He has trained with Coach Jim Wagner at Good Newz Boxing in Paramus, NJ and Soke Ray Rivera at Senshi Tori MMA in Bayonne, NJ. He has also trained in kickboxing with his good friend and fellow personal trainer Teddy Mercer, who is a black belt in Goju-Ryu Karate.


After many years of training, Jason decided to take the ACE Certified Personal Trainer exam and embark on a career in  health and fitness. He enjoys helping others and since being certified has trained others in personal fitness, boxing, and MMA. He has trained in their homes, outdoors, and in local gyms. Jason’s philosophy is simple: Don’t just train hard, train smart and live it. Fitness is not a fad of crash diets and magic pills. Fitness is a lifestyle of life-long commitments to your well-being. Above all, he likes people to enjoy exercise and that’s the reason he focus’ on functional and sport specific training methods.
